To get this effect we used hand held shots, to make it look shaky - connotations of fear. Along with low angle close ups of the Victim falling, because to me it's scarier when you can't see the danger but you know its there. For the detective scene we wanted to show how a calm, picturesque location can play host to something this horrific. But also how calm the police are in these situations.
