Feedback to our film opening so far

In today's lesson we showed our film to the class and they commented on our work so far and what we could improve on or do differerently.

The class liked the storyline.

However they also said that the titles were too quick and there were too many. Also we should try intergrating the titles into the action. There is a problem with this though when we tried it in the past it made the picture fuzzy. I did like the idea of having title followed by action followed by title.

issues with conttinuity is that in the script we say the victim has been stabbed, yet on the footage there's no wound. Also they said the victims age is too old to look convcing.

Another point is that a POV shot from the body's point of view isn't very clear and that we should think more about the shots were using as a whole.

They also said the murder scene was too rushed and to fix this we should increase the time spent on the stabbing.

Finally the class said there were too many needless transitions and we need something to bind the sound.

In response to the sound issue we are in the process of adding another scene and a soundtrack to the film.
